I was referred to Fretz Tennis Center by a friend of mine for racquet stringing. I was promised 3-4 business days for the job....one week passed, two weeks passed and no calls. I finally decided to call and check on my racquets only to find out that they still weren't strung, shocking! The next day I went in person to find out one of my racquets was strung that morning, but the other wasn't because of a lost grommet, which they (their stringer lost). At that point I said fine, just give me my racquets and a refund for $20 for the other racquet that wasn't strung. The young man couldn't give me the refund, of course, and said he would absolutely call me at the beginning of the week. Here it is a week later and still no call. Pretty frustrating! Have I lost sleep over it, no, it's just a racquet stringing, but c'mon Fretz how about a little integrity, customer service, etc?? Pete D
Fretz Tennis Center is one of the best public tennis facilities in Dallas. The courts are well-maintained, the staff is friendly, and the coaching is top-notch. The center offers a great mix of programs for players of all ages and levels, from juniors just starting out to adults looking to sharpen their game. One of the highlights for me has been the Monday drills. They are well-structured, challenging, and fun. It’s a perfect way to start the week—getting a solid workout while improving strokes and strategy. Overall, Fretz combines quality instruction, good facilities, and a welcoming tennis community. If you’re in North Dallas and love tennis, it’s definitely worth checking out.
I started attending drills at Fretz Tennis Center a year ago after taking a 16-year break from the sport, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. Booking drills through the app is quick and convenient, and the front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. Karen greets me by name with a big smile every time I walk in, which makes the experience even more welcoming. Most of my drills are with Jake Williams, who is a fantastic coach and instructor. He keeps the drills fun, engaging, and makes sure newcomers feel comfortable right away. I also attend drills with Seth Harris, who is personable and does a great job running his sessions. On top of that, the players who attend Fretz are kind and supportive, which makes the community here even better. I’m so glad I found Fretz
Love this place! The staff is incredible and knowledgeable. The prices are very reasonable. There's a great variety of classes offered for children and adults. The area is clean. They also have a pickle ball court. They offer group and private lessons. Their summer camps are great. Kids really enjoy them.
