This is one of those simple places that kids truly enjoy. Open space, beautiful trees, and plenty of room to run, ride, and just be kids. The paved path is perfect for scooters and bikes, and the playground works well for different ages. We also love that there are tennis courts right next to it with lights in the evening — makes it easy to stay active as a family. Nothing fancy, just a really good park we keep coming back to.

I drove across town to take my son to open swimming only to find out when we arrived that they were closing 2 hrs early. This schedule change was not reflected on any app, online, or paper calendar that I could find. I will now be calling the Y before I leave the house to go there, to make sure about availability. I hate that I can't trust a business' schedule. I tried to call but could reach no one at the front desk to confirm hours. I arrived with my son to swim and discovered it was indeed closing early. This was not posted online. They only put out signs on the front desk with hour changes. This is very disappointing and I am removing a star from my initial review.

Very nice YMCA. Open concept really works well Plus rooms which need special sound systems. Spin room is amazing. Lots of nice parking. Very park-like. Good price and lots of classes and individual machines.

I have never taken the time to write a bad review of a business....until now. My family and I are new to the community, and my son wanted a gym he could call home. My first impression of the place was not great, mainly due to the older lady who was signing us up for membership taking over an HOUR to do so, but its like that sometimes, I understand. Come to January, they took the payment out from my bank and sometimes since I'm still using my bank back home, it won't recognize a charge down here in Florida and will block it. I called and explained the situation to the Y and they told me that THEY didn't charge me an extra $30, rather my bank did...called the bank for clarification, and they said absolutely not, that charge came from the Y. Called them back and they were unrelenting and refused to not only refund me but continued to throw my bank under the bus to the point I just had the bank send me written confirmation of it! Flash forward to me just deciding to cancel the entire membership, partially due to personal reasons, partially due to the bad taste this left in my mouth, and I am told that because i "failed to give a thirty day notice per cancellation policy' they would once again be charging me unnecessarily. We were supposed to have been made aware of said cancellation policy upon registration....I informed her that we never were and that we were lucky to just get registered period because the lady registering us had no clue what she was doing and spent half the time on the phone with her husband. The response I received was "well, I can't prove that she did or didn't tell you" and it was delivered with snark. This woman continued to attempt to brush me off when I asked if there was literature that outlined the cancellation policy, she continued to reiterate that we would have been told at registration, then suddenly "well you should have received an email". She would not let me plead my case as to not being informed about the canellation policy and kept trying to hang up on me. Horrible business, ran by buffoons. I do not suggest this gym to ANYONE. The facility itself is nice enough, but paying that kind of membership fees only to be met with sarcasm and unprofessional behavior from the staff? No thanks. I will certainly take my business elsewhere, as there are so many nice gyms to choose from. Edit: wish i would have looked at all the poor reviews on here about this facility before joining....looks like they have a good history of poor customer service at best, downright LYING at worst. Cheating people out of their hard earned money surely isn't part of this community's values.

Pretty disappointed in the recent cardio “upgrade” the the machines. We went from having screens on individual machines & now we’ve downgraded. Not what I was expecting reading the notice of an upgrade as well as paying more here than other places. Please go back to the other machines. We had more than 10 and now only 2 with the screens.
