★★★Honest & Fair Feedback Reviews

Fort Myers YMCA Solid Amenities, Frustrating Fee Structure This YMCA location offers a good range of facilities that serve the community well, the gym equipment is modern and varied, and the group fitness classes are generally well-run and engaging. The staff at the front desk and in the fitness areas are consistently friendly and helpful. Our reason for canceling was due to recent financial decisions by the management. This year's rate increase, combined with the introduction of an additional fee for paying monthly dues with a credit card, made the membership feel significantly less valuable. The extra processing fee, in particular, felt like an unnecessary charge on top of the already increased membership cost. For those who don't mind the higher price point and can pay via direct bank draft to avoid the credit card fee, it remains a comprehensive community fitness center. However, the new fee structure was a deciding factor for us to seek alternatives.

Came here to use a pool thats in the pictures and when arrived was told that the pool is located in Bonita springs (40 minutes away) they also only will take my membership a few times before I have to transfer to this location and pay more. The gym here is probably the only thing thays worth it because everything is clean and pretty much unused. If your looking for a spot to work out around absolutely nobody this is the location for u. They did have Hairties in the women's restroom along with tampons and pads so that was nice.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Large weight and machine area. The equipment is older but clean and well maintained. They had everything I was looking to use. I was a visiting YMCA member and found everything I needed. There are classes, but no pool or sauna. The night I was there it was not crowded which was nice. Easy to get to and in a nice area.

Great experience this time around with coach Shelemiah! She is amazing with the kids, teaching form and breaking everything down. She really understand the game and movements needed to be successful! She pushes the kids and corrects them firmness and compassion which is my favorite part!

We love the YMCA and their sports programs. When we first moved here becoming apart of the Y was a must. Friendly atmosphere, caring staff who are more than just staff to our family. Thankful for this YMCA and all of its members, volunteers & employees.
