Powered by GoogleMy kids have been coming here every summer for over 10 years. It’s their favorite place on earth. They’ve made great friendships, learned skills like fire making and using a knife, and they developed a deep love for nature. Staff are incredible, friendly, knowledgeable. The property is magical with field, creek, woods and wildlife. My youngest is now doing the Luna Moth rite of passage program and she loves it!
Absolutely beautiful, loving, fun, and reverent place for children. Our son has been going for two years. Beautiful land and incredible staff. I cannot recommend it enough.
I attended camps here all through my childhood and even worked here more recently. Highly recommended to send kids of any age! Very glad Flying Deer was part of my experience growing up and is still part of my life.
We have been involved with flying deer for over 12 years. We've raised our kids together, experienced grief and joy together. Find your nature center and it's programs have made us who we are and I can't recommend them more highly
A nature center that brings a joyful grounded and imaginative experience so that you don't even realize you've learned so much about wild edibles birdsong leaf shapes and fire starting because it's so much fun and well planned out. Connecting with nature in a healthy way that fosters a deep love of and appreciation for the living creatures and living world we are a part of.
