FlipStar Gymnastics Academy runs a four-day-a-week (Mon-Thu) summer gymnastics camp for ages 5-12 at its New Lenox gym. The All Access full day runs 9am-4pm; morning-only (9am-12pm) and afternoon-only (1pm-4pm) half days are also sold by the week. Days alternate between gymnastics-focused training - rotations on vault, bars, beam and floor, plus the Ninja course, trampoline and pit - and days emphasizing camp crafts and activities, with trivia, games and dance mixed in. Campers are grouped by skill level for instruction and by age for social activities, the coach-to-camper ratio is one to eight, and every camper gets a camp t-shirt signed by coaches and campers at week's end. Families pack a nut-free lunch and snacks; guardian sign-in and sign-out is required daily.
