I worked at Fircreek for 2010-2012 summers and absolutely love being on staff, loving kids, sharing faith, playing and having serious conversations. It's a place that will really encourage growth thru Christ-centered discipline. Even today they continue to be seeking to love people, the community, and the world around us with Christ-like love and faith to the best of their abilities. A genuine community that welcomes you in.

Fircreek is one of the most beautiful locations you’ll ever see for a camp. Character development, patience for process, big fun games in the trees. Every day my kids come home tired and muddy and full of stories about camp counselors with nicknames and giant energetic creativity building forts and swimming in the lake. I love this place and the way the organization continues to make meaningful changes and adjustments to make things better.

I recommend them! they schedule each week with very different activities for the kids, and they spend hours decorating for the themed weeks so whether you are staying all summer or for just for one week, you have a unique and engaging experience! The love of Jesus shines through the counselors and staff and each kid will have great adults to look up to!

My oldest (10) has gone here for years and loves it. He prefers it over the Y camps (not sure on the specifics as the why he likes it better). He is typically all smiles when I pick him up and always covered in dirt. My youngest (5) is attending for the first time this year (2019) and loves it so much. Aqua Zone is her favorite activity. The staff are so great, patient, and caring. In my 5-year olds words about staff, "They are nice, they play with me all the time, and are balls of energy just like me!" Seriously folks, the staff are phenomenal every year, they care about the kids, and they care about their safety. Overall, Fircreek has been a great place for us and so many great memories are being made.

Funny how the majority of the reviews say nothing about personal experience of Fircreek. Most sounded like an angry mob so I just pulled out the ones that sounded real and credible and decided to give this camp a try instead of the one down south. Anyway, my children came home from camp the most excited I've seen them in a very long time. They are having the time of their life! Seems strongly secure in Biblical truth (there's a reason you send your children to a Christian camp) and safe from what I have seen at the camp (I'm a bit protective so that was important to me). Their website is clear about their foundation with scripture references to back it up. I appreciate that Fircreek is a safe, fun, active place for my kiddos where I don't have to worry too much about bad influences especially at their young ages. We'll be back again for sure!
