Extra Mile Basketball runs a summer basketball camp at Empire Sports & Training, 525 Riverside Ave in Lyndhurst, for ages 7-18 split into divisions by grade: grades 2-5 (ages 7-10), grades 6-8 (ages 11-13) and grades 9-12 (ages 14-18). Each session is two hours of high-intensity skill development covering ball handling, shooting, footwork, defense, basketball IQ, leadership and mental toughness. Camp is sold by the day rather than as a full-day program — packages run $85 for one day up to $375 for the full five-day week, with a free T-shirt included on three-, four- and five-day packages.
