She loves all of her teachers and dance friends. My son also used to do their hip hop and tumbling classes. He absolutely loved it until he started having some sensory issues with the loud music (totally not their fault) so he asked to stop but still talks about his classes fondly. Additionally we have enrolled in several of their summer programs. My daughter can’t get enough of this place. The communication is very helpful. The teachers are so fun and kind. We foresee many more years of enrolling with Expressions Dance!
★★★★★Klara SmithThis month marks my 12th and final year here as a dancer at Expressions Dance. Dancing with Expressions made me who I am. It taught me patience, determination, flexibility, teamwork, responsibility and many other things. However, the most valuable lesson dance has taught me is to celebrate and care for everyone around me. I have been fortunate enough to dance at a studio that pushes its students to cheer on everyone even if we were competing against them. Some of my favorite memories are rooted in screaming and clapping backstage for dancers I’ve never met, or handing out good luck cards. Dance has always been a community, and I am so beyond grateful that I am a part of that. My teammates have become my forever family. I’m going to miss spending long days with them dying laughing over the smallest things and all our inside jokes. I’m going to miss getting to see all the people I love both as people and dancers. I’ll also miss my mentors who have nurtured me to become a well rounded dancer. It’s because of them that I can live out my dreams of pursuing dance. I’m going to miss seeing all these people every day, but I know this isn’t goodbye. Expressions Dance has been an incredible first chapter of my journey. I wouldn’t change it for the world.
