We had an AMAZING time! We have both been rock climbing for about a year and a half and for our honeymoon someone gifted us an outdoor climbing experience through Evergreen Wilderness Guides on the Knot. It was the best experience. I have a health condition and our guide Ryan was so great at making sure we went at my pace. I can not recommend him enough! We both got to top some routes, learned how to tie the knots properly, learned safety procedures and got to finally experience something we were both looking so much forward to doing. Highly highly recommend using Evergreen Wilderness Guides for beginners. We loved it so much.

For first timers, my sister, dad and I were so grateful to EWG and our awesome guide Ryan for an amazing experience! Ryan took the time to not only show us an amazing location in Golden but also educated us on the equipment, terminology and safety precautions of rappelling! I would highly recommend booking an experience with this group! We will definitely be using them for our future rappelling trips!

My first experience with EVG was in 2016. Jack was my guide and it was great! This past weekend, I had the opportunity to do another tour with them. Ryan was my guide this time. Both of these guys are awesome! I highly recommend them.

We did a full day of rock climbing and repelling in Golden, CO with Ryan as our guide from Evergreen Wilderness. It was a fantastic experience we will never forget. We are a family of 3 with a high school daughter and two parents on the far side of the 40's. Ryan was very accommodating to our individual levels of experience and comfort. He was great at explaining the technical side of what he was doing with all the gear so that we knew what was important and that felt safe. The location was beautiful and had many different climbs and repels we could try. Ryan was very personable, patient and professional. He made it clear what we needed to bring. He also was able to provide all the gear we needed. All 3 of us highly recommend Ryan and Evergreen Wilderness.

This was a perfect way to spend half a day in nature. I was looking for a thrilling experience outside the Denver area and rappelling seemed like a good way to experience nature. My wife and I had both done this before, but my wife still had concerns. Our guide - Ryan - was so calming that those concerns were overcome. We met at the parking lot and hiked for 20 minutes to the rapelling site. We chatted along the way. When we got to the spot, Ryan walked us through the process - first in theory, then with his support and backup, then all on our own! We then transitions to a more adventurous rappelling point, which was thrilling. It was a great experience, one that I would definitely repeat. I would highly recommend Evergreen Wilderness and Ryan!
