Powered by GoogleMy daughter has worked her way up to the training team and has learned so much. The coaches are patient, encouraging, and enthusiastic. I love that they celebrate new skills/improvement with the kids. Highly recommend Energym!
I’ve observed multiple boys’ classes at Energym, and what I witnessed was deeply concerning. The male coaches constantly whine, yell, and talk down to the boys. They show no patience, no professionalism, and no understanding of how to inspire or encourage young athletes. Rather than teaching discipline through guidance and support, they demand blind obedience and perfection. I’ve seen them argue with children and even mock the boys when they can’t do something correctly. This behavior is condescending, discouraging, and completely inappropriate for a youth sports environment. Coaches are supposed to mentor and build confidence, not humiliate or belittle. The boys’ classes at Energym, as they currently operate, foster fear and frustration rather than growth and self-esteem. I was seriously considering enrolling my son here, but after witnessing this environment firsthand, I am relieved I did not. Parents deserve programs where children are treated with respect, patience, and encouragement — values that are clearly missing in these classes. Energym needs to take a serious, honest look at the male coaching staff in the boys’ classes and make significant changes. The way these children are being treated is unacceptable, and the gym’s reputation suffers directly because of it
My 2 girls 6 and 8 have been going here since the gym Kats level (lowest lvl class) and have worked their ways up to the pre training team and the lowest level training team. The coaches are the most professional and knowledgeable and have taught both my girls so much and with patience. Don’t hesitate to bring your kiddos here! The staff is also very helpful. Thank you Energym staff and coaches
I pulled my kid out when teachers started punishing entire classes for the misbehavior of a few kids, and classes were no longer enjoyable. That's unacceptable when I am paying for my child to learn there.
Took our son who just turned 3 yrs old to do a trial for the ninja zone and there was a young coach who was working with the group that had zero patience. We could see him getting visibly frustrated & heard him complain to another coach about our son not being able to follow instructions. What was disappointing as a parent is we could tell our son was not having fun after about 20min.
