EForce Sports runs its Beaverton facility as a baseball and softball academy, where new students start with a 30-minute First Time Player Evaluation and then book private one-on-one lessons of 30 or 60 minutes. EForce lists its baseball instructors as paid professional coaches, and all of its private softball instruction takes place at this facility. The Beaverton site also offers EForce speed and strength group training for athletes in grades 6 to 12 and a Youth Speed Camp for grades 3 to 5 that meets on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. EForce Sports announced in April 2021 that it had acquired The Yard Baseball Academy, based in Beaverton.

I worked with Chad Ulogar at the east side facility. I am in my seventies playing adult slow pitch softball and have had limited experience playing softball. Chad was great to work with- friendly, patient, and a true professional. I had five lessons. His instructions were innovative and very clear and helpful. I felt I made definite progress although I knew I would not be a great hitter in only five lessons. Chad gave me the tools and concepts to work on. I just need to practice and execute what he taught me. Would highly recommend working with Chad. Thanks Chad.

Coaches are very good. My son is currently seeing Colton for hitting lessons. He enjoys them and has improved his swing.

While visiting our in-laws, rather than have my son veg out in front of the TV, I signed him up for their winter baseball camp. He has a Little League tryout coming up, so it would help keep his skills fresh. The camp and facilities aren't bad. We've used an indoor facility locally as well as played summer travel ball, so I'm comparing against our experience. But, if you're in Beaverton, and your kid likes baseball, the yard seems pretty good.

Brought in my son who'd been out of baseball for 4 years, but wanted to see where his pitching ability was at with all the time off. They have a former MLB pitcher Chris Pine (No, not the Star Trek actor) who was very friendly and humble which is something I don't expect out of people with that kind of ability and knowledge. Without the use of slow motion video, he was immediately able to identify mechanical flaws that reduce velocity and increase injury risk. Due to commitments in a different sport, we can't get personal lessons for baseball now, but it would be an easy choice if we did. That kind of knowledge, with a genuine interest to help is hard to find. Also just as important is his brutal honesty. You will know exactly where you stand, and what realistic expectations would be.
