Edge on Science runs week-long, project-based STEM day camps for ages 8–17, with programs at Lasell University in Newton (plus Gloucester and Byfield locations) covering topics such as CAD, bridge building, robotics and space science. Camps run Monday–Friday 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. with optional extended care from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., in small groups of 10–12 led by engineers, scientists and scholars. Pricing starts around $835 per week.

Rockets, Vikings, Drone&Code, Space science - they’ve got so much for kids that really love to learn new things and the teachers and counselors are so thoughtful and engaging! It may seem it a bit pricey but it is well worth it!

My younger daughter got to see the final day’s demonstration and promptly proclaimed she wanted to do it next summer. She will be starting it next week. My son last summer saw kids using a giant trebuchet and shooting off rockets so he asked to do those this summer. He just is finishing off the trebuchet week. He learned tons of stuff about physics, problem solving, engineering, and medieval history. Highly recommend edge on science camp!
