Inclusive summer day camp run by Easterseals Massachusetts at The Bridge Center, a fully accessible 22-acre campus in Bridgewater, for individuals of all abilities ages 4 and up. Weekly themed sessions run late June through mid-August with full-day (9-3) and half-day (9-12) options, offering arts and crafts, adaptive biking, cooking, small-animal interactions, nature trails, and splash-pad water play, plus optional horseback riding. ★★★★★Ragan McNeelyThis is a very well run theraputic and recreational activities center. For my son, it is the best adaptive horseback riding program imaginable! It is for all ages, abilities and backgrounds. Expertly staffed with OT/PTs and highly experienced riding instructors, the director has a special-ed background and years of experience riding all over the world. She is even bilingual/Spanish speaking! To round it out there are numerous, experienced volunteers who assist the instructors, lead the horses and spot the riders, when needed. It is social, engaging and educational all at once. Not only can they get nearly anyone on a gentle, experienced horse, they work hard to improve horsemanship, teach animal care and have a range of other theraputic activities during the week and weekends. My 24 year old son was born with CP and this place has cheered him up markedly every week for the past two years. We’ll never stop going!

Our daughter had just been newly diagnosed with a severe developmental disorder when we started here and we were still coming to terms with her having special needs. Paula is the most kind and patient person we’ve ever met and set the tone for what to expect from any provider spending time with special needs individuals. She was always patient and loving even when our daughter was being difficult. The services are great and we’re thankful for those but it’s the love from the people here that sets it that much apart!
