The East Oakland Youth Development Center (EOYDC) is a nonprofit (501(c)(3), opened 1978) serving youth ages 5-24. Its Summer Cultural Enrichment Program (SCEP) is a six-week, full-day summer camp for ages 5-12 offering cultural heritage, language arts, STEM, arts and crafts, wellness and dance plus field trips, and a free Kuumbaa arts program. Nearly all programming is offered at no cost to families. It is a mission-driven East Oakland community center.
