Powered by GoogleAs a mom trying to find something for my toddler to do, I decided to try out Dream Extreme's toddler open gym time. My kids had such a fun time that we ended up signing up for classes and have now been taking classes for two years. There is complete transparency with level progress for each student. You have your own account, and the coaches record your athletes’ progress for each skill. Even for the littles, they are working on skills such as 3 straight jumps connected on a springboard, attempting a backwards walk on high beam with a slight spot, staying seated when asked, and forward roll down a cheese unassisted starting with arms up. The skills are specified with detail and progress as your athlete moves up in levels. I love this communication because this allows me to help my child at home and also see that my child is being individually recognized during class. Billing is also very straight forward. They are very clear and upfront with their scheduled closures for the entire year (New Year’s, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.) so there are no surprises. I am charged the same monthly fee, regardless of whether there are 4 weeks or 5 weeks in the month. In an event that a coach is out sick, they make every effort to find a sub and if they cannot, they will refund the class. Over the two years that we have been attending, they have only cancelled class once, contacting me via email and text, with an immediate refund. I very much appreciate clear communication, and simple billing. I am also able to submit my receipts for reimbursement with our Homeschool Charter very easily due to their clear billing system. The coaches are amazing! They are energetic, professional, and all follow the same lesson plans and curriculum. If you have to miss a lesson, you get a makeup token added to your account (max 1 per month), to use within the next few months. I love that we can pick a different class to attend and the format/lessons are consistent. This allows us to try a different day, time slot, and/or coach. The facility is cleaned daily, and I often see someone cleaning when I’m there. There are bleachers for people to wait where you can see the entire gym floor, and windows into the toddler rooms, where they do the toddler classes with the smaller equipment. The front desk is also very quick to help when needed. My only recommendation for this gym is to showcase their graduated seniors, and what college gymnastics teams they have joined. Dream Extreme has trained so many great athletes that it would be fun for the littles to see. I highly recommend Dream Extreme, especially if you have littles and want a class that is organized, consistent, and fun!
We had an excellent experience with Dream Extreme in Vacaville. I originally signed my daughter up for tumbling, but she didn’t enjoy it. When we went to the front office and explained that her #1 sport is competitive soccer and that we were really looking for something to help with flexibility, conditioning, and stretching, they were incredibly helpful. The front office immediately grabbed a coach who assessed my daughter on the spot and placed her in the correct gymnastics level. The entire process was smooth, thoughtful, and reassuring. Everyone was kind, professional, and truly cared about putting her in the right environment. Unfortunately, we had to end our sessions for now, but we will definitely be coming back. Everything was handled so easily and efficiently, it was such a relief. Highly recommend!
My family has had such a wonderful experience at DreamXtreme! From the moment we joined, the front desk team—especially Taffy and Helen—has been absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to help my daughter feel welcomed, supported, and excited about gymnastics. My daughter has tried so many activities in the past—ballet, tap, pom, jazz, hip-hop—and performing always made her nervous. But in her short time at DreamXtreme, something has truly clicked. Her confidence has soared, she looks forward to every class (which used to be a challenge!), and for the first time ever she actually asked if she could perform. As a parent, seeing that spark has meant the world. Taffi and Helen have been incredibly kind, patient, and encouraging throughout this journey. They took the time to answer my questions, offer suggestions, and really support my daughter’s newfound love for gymnastics. Their positivity and willingness to help made such a difference. We are so grateful for the entire DreamXtreme team and the environment they’ve created. If you’re looking for a place where your child can grow, gain confidence, and genuinely enjoy learning, this is it!
I’m very disappointed with our recent experience at this gym. My children, who were genuinely excited and proud to have moved up to the Intermediate Tumbling class, were suddenly moved back down to the Beginner level after only a short time—without any prior discussion or opportunity for improvement. They worked extremely hard, showed up consistently, and were thrilled about their progress. Instead of being encouraged or supported, they’re now being told to go backwards. This decision was discouraging, confusing, and honestly, very demotivating for them. As a parent, it’s heartbreaking to see that excitement taken away. I understand the importance of fundamentals and safety, but I also believe in communication, transparency, and a growth-focused approach. If children are not ready, the staff should be working with them and parents proactively—not promoting them and then demoting them after they’ve already celebrated their progress. Because of this, I felt I had no choice but to withdraw my kids and seek a program that offers clearer guidance, consistency, and respectful communication. I think it’s important for other parents to know that the way these decisions are handled can have a huge emotional impact on kids. I sincerely hope the gym reconsiders how they approach these situations in the future.
We've been going to Dream Xtreme for almost a year and now that we're leaving the area, saying goodbye was so hard! We started with a ninja class when my twins were 4 and they loved it. There were anywhere from 2-6 kids in class at any given time, depending on school schedules and whatnot. The boys enjoyed having more kids to play with while I actually liked when it was just them because they got all the attention. Ninja class involves climbing, running, jumping, learning to tumble, etc. Their coach remained consistent throughout their time, which helped them feel comfortable and know what to expect. I started a Dreamchasers class with my shy 2-year-old about 7 months ago and didn't know how it would go. Being a parent and child class helped her feel comfortable, but she still stuck to me most of the time. Coach Cinnamon was amazing and gave my girl all the time and space she needed and I credit her with helping my little one come out of her shell. The first time Coach Cinnamon got a high five from my baby, my heart was so happy! By our last class, my little one was running off on her own, asking Coach for help over me, and truly enjoying herself. This class involved the obstacle course, dancing, stretching, learning balance, jumping on the trampoline, and playing in the foam pit. Thank you all for an amazing time! It will be hard to find such a great team at our new location.
