Downtown Dance Academy teaches jazz, hip hop, acro, ballet, contemporary, tap, lyrical and conditioning, along with preschool classes, at its studio in the Ocean County Mall Plaza on Hooper Avenue in Toms River, New Jersey. Its competition teams, which dancers join through auditions, compete at regional and national events, and a mini team for ages 5 to 7 introduces the competition experience through jazz, contemporary and ballet technique.
