Dingers NJ runs a full-day baseball and softball camp for ages 9 to 12 at its Maplewood facility, with live games, pool days, whiffle ball tournaments and ice cream Fridays, plus a school-vacation camp. The indoor site at 50 Burnet Ave has batting cages, HitTrax, an arcade, inflatables and open gym, and expert trainers for both baseball and softball. It was started by two local dads tired of driving half an hour to reach a batting cage, and also fields the Dingers Baseball Club at 13U and 14U.

Your best bet is to go with a partner who can feed balls into the machine for you. Online reservations are almost always available same day. It is new and still finding its feet, but I don't feel that rates holding back a star when I saved a 30 minute drive. I called with a website registration problem and they were friendly and fixed it right away.
