Powered by GoogleWe watched Funny Girl, I will say everyone does a fantastic job! If I must boast about someone who most definitely stood out, it was Funny Girl herself! She had me tearing up for how passionate and great she is at character. Thank you, sorry I did not stick around to meet you! Next time
Friendly & professional staff, the facility is in great shape and kept at a very comfortable temperature. Audio is tuned to the theatre space and sounds clear. We saw Funny Girl tonight and enjoyed it.
My parents treated me for my birthday to an amazing night at Diamond Head Theater to see WEST SIDE STORY yesterday afternoon. It’s been one of our family’s favorites since…well…forever and this cast, orchestra and production crew DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Amazing! So many great moments! The cast really took us all the way through the spectrum of emotions. We fell in love with the characters, we laughed and cried and had our hearts torn apart. We all could not stop talking about every element of perfection. (Costumes, music, singing, dancing, sets/scenes, lights, even the characters’ accents…) A beautifully done production… Bravo!!!
First time to diamond Head theatre after it's remodel. Beautiful, contemporary, excellent seating, great sound system. A great experience seeing, "Westside Story" which is a superb performance.
DHT productions (mostly musical theatre, with one spoken drama per season) have achieved great improvements in quality over the past couple of years in terms of talent both on the stage and in the pit. The new theatre building has great acoustics and sight lines. That being said, it ain't always quite Broadway. But it is a joy seeing local talent grow where it was planted!
