DFW Surf runs summer watersports camps on Lake Grapevine at Meadowmere Park, Monday through Thursday. Camp Tubular (ages 6-12, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.) is a half-day introduction to paddleboarding, kayaking and tubing for first-timers; Beginner Surf Camp (ages 7-16, 9:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.) teaches the fundamentals of wake surfing with coaching from the boat; and Camp Surfer (ages 7-18, 9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.) is a full-day camp for campers who already have basic wakesurfing skills. All campers must have basic swimming skills, and life jackets are provided. The operator has taught wake surfing on Grapevine Lake since 2007 and also offers paddleboard rentals and boat charters.
