I can only speak for the discovery camp and the 6yr camps. My kids love it! The 6yo tells me they’re outside the entire time. Lake activities, pool, slides, zip lining, outdoor games. She’s usually not the rugged type but exposure to these activities give her new experiences and she is starting to figure out what she loves about the outdoors. Shaded grounds, with plenty of water stations. Discovery group, 5 and younger, they are not outside AS much, get rest time, and sing songs and do crafts. Process to sign up was easy, I recommend signing up early to take advantage of early bird discount, makes it a bit more affordable especially with multiple kids.

My children, ages 11 and 13, loved camp Anothen last summer. They were invited by friends and brought along a cousin. A good time was had by all! Everyone learned, made friends, laughed a lot, and came home exhausted! They had so much fun, I think my city kids would have slept in the trees overnight had I let them! They didn’t want to come home! They’re very much looking forward to next summer and inviting more friends. As a parent I loved seeing them so happy and had zero complaints. The ease of pick up, drop off, and communication make Camp Anothen a breeze.

We have attended summer camps for the past 2 years and my daughter ABSOLUTELY has a blast every time! She literally talks about it for the entire year. Camp Anothen has opened up their grounds for birthday parties, so we jumped on the idea! They were so accommodating when it came to dates, having outside vendors and themes! The day of the party kids of all ages had a blast playing the ENTIRE DAY zip lining, playing Gaga ball, tag, dancing, exploring and just being kids in a safe environment ! Kids left the party crying because they didn't want to leave! Thank you for making daughters 9th birthday such an amazing experience

My children attended one week of this summer camp for the very first time this summer at the recommendation of a couple friends who were sending their kids as well. It was easily their favorite summer experience and both of them wished they were attending more than just one weeks worth. They had a blast and came home thoroughly exhausted at the end of the day. I appreciated their program filled with outdoor activities and friendship. My kids did many things they've never done before and felt happy and confident in their success. We will be signing them up for more next summer and every summer until they're signing up to be counselors here. The drop offs and pick ups were smooth, swift and safe. All of the counselors and staff were friendly and communicative and the kids loved their counselors. I was happy with all interactions. They went out of their way to make sure my kids were placed with their friends but also that they made new friends as well. So thankful for this experience.
