Junior Tennis Academy Summer Camp at the Dedham Health & Athletic Complex, running Monday-Friday 9:00am-4:00pm for ages 6-16, with extended day from 7:30am to 6:00pm. Instruction is age- and level-appropriate, from first-time racquet holders learning fundamentals through tournament players sharpening match strategy and court awareness. Campers train on the complex's six indoor and four covered outdoor courts, then get daily access to the pool, waterslides, wave sessions and splash zones as part of the camp, and lunch is included.

Powered by GoogleThe customer service staff, starting with the front desk, are rude, indifferent, and completely lacking in empathy. And the person handling registrations is a thousand times worse—despite his youth, he's indifferent, rude, and has little to no desire to work, much less serve the public. I'm extremely disappointed with their customer service.
We’ve been part of the tennis program at Dedham Health & Athletic Complex for years, with our children enrolled since they were just 3 years old. Unfortunately, our recent experience has been extremely disappointing and concerning. Over the past session, there were multiple incidents involving our children that demonstrated a lack of professionalism, poor judgment, and what we believe to be inappropriate behavior from coaching staff. These included: •A situation where our child was injured and not properly attended to •Coaches making comments in front of other children that embarrassed and singled out our son •Instances where our children felt uncomfortable due to comments that were insensitive and inappropriate •A particularly concerning pattern of calling out or blaming one child in front of peers, which negatively impacted his confidence One of our children is currently working through physical challenges and attends physical therapy. Tennis was meant to be a positive, confidence-building environment. Instead, he began asking not to attend—something no parent wants to hear after investing years into a program. What was most disappointing was the response from management. Rather than addressing these concerns thoughtfully, the situation was dismissed, and our family did not feel heard or supported. Loyalty should be recognized—not disregarded. Children should feel encouraged, respected, and safe—which is exactly what a youth sports should provide. Thankfully, there are other reputable tennis academies in the area which have been recommended. We hope this feedback leads to meaningful improvements for other families.
I went in for xrays of both my knees this morning. The receptionist had a very bad attitude! I understand there have been alot of complaints about this one person. Do something about it!!! Not very nice at all!!
I use the Dedham club for the pool, Jacuzzi and steam room. The pool is the only one that gets a good grade. The deck around the pool is disgusting. Chairs haven't been cleaned in at least a year, ALL lounge chairs are broken. The deck has standing water that's been there forever. The drains are clogged and disgusting. The Jacuzzi is either cold, or half the jets don't work. Today ALL of the jets didn't work. And they just hired a Aquatic Manager, who says he's not on charge of these issues???? And didn't bother passing on mine AND OTHERS concerns. And they AGAIN raised the membership!!!! So much for customer service!
Staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. This is one of the nicest health clubs I've seen. It isn't quite equinox, but it also doesn't cost a million dollars a month. Some of the other patrons are inconsiderate, talking out loud on cellphones and such, but you're always going to have a few jerks and there's not too many of them. There are far more dummies at PF. For the most part, people are nice and considerate. The men's locker rooms could be a smidge cleaner and could use about 10% more maintenance like fixing broken locker doors promptly. I suppose that's more expensive and I don't understand how they make money anyway, the place is about an acre in size and it is never full, even when the parking lot is jammed. It must be from the tennis fees.
