What used to be a bank is now a wonderful little school. Though we do not have our children attend the school during the day we do have our daughter take violin lessons here. The teachers are wonderful and my daughter is improving so much.

We love Nina Westbrook! She taught my son cello for a year or two, and now teaches my daughter violin. She is patient, encouraging, and knows just how to teach children on their level to play their instrument well.

During the time our kids were at this school the school frequently over charged us under charged changed the billing terms without notice. They require automatic withdrawal from your account and you never know what each month they are going to be drafting from your account. They will also stick it to you for summer lessons. We did not find out our instructors availability for summer lessons until May 12th after their April 30th deadline for summer enrollment. The instructor was no longer able to offer the same lesson availability as we previously had for the summer months and her new availability did not work in our schedule. The school required us to pay for the entire summer though we were not informed of a change of availability until after the deadline for enrollment. They are very shady this way.

This is an environment that encourages student engagement, creative thinking, higher level thought processes and a love of learning. Whether you choose in-person or distance learning, you will be participating in a professional educational setting facilitated by a highly educated staff.

My son has been a student at the River School of Music beginning at 12 months old through, now, age 7. All levels of instruction have been spectacular, and we love how he is encouraged to play and enjoy the fun of music rather than focusing on the "practice" of making a skill perfect. It's wonderful to see his eyes light up with confidence when he shows off to friends how he can play a new song. I highly recommend River School of Music to players of any age or skill level!
