She had been at a studio whose environment was so malicious and cut throat competitive that she had lost her love for dance and had decided to quit dance. (Breaks my heart that we did not see that culture until much later). After a pause, I interviewed several studio owners/directors and felt like CED was the place to be! The patience, pushing, training, encouragement, and counseling sessions (lol!) have been instrumental to her personal and artistic development! They go above and beyond to support their dancers inside CED and the things they do outside CED! She not only began dancing again but 5 years later has graduated and is leaving CED for college to major in ….wait for it….DANCE!!!
