I reached out to the crabkickers via email a week ago, and I never heard back. Unfortunately, the quality of the program appears to be on a coach by coach basis ; our coach did not not want to coach the 7-9 year olds. The kids stretched for 5 minutes then scrimmaged the rest of the time. There are SO many good programs in the area that this one is not worth your time. I requested a partial refund - which I didn't expect - but was hoping for at least acknowledgement of my message (which hasn't happened). My note: Hello, I’m writing to share some feedback regarding our recent experience with Crab Kickers in Catonsville. We have attended three practices so far and, unfortunately, have been quite disappointed. Coach -------- typically does a brief warm-up, and then the kids scrimmage for the remainder of the session. During scrimmage, the children are often confused about teams since there are no jerseys or clear ways to differentiate sides. More importantly, there has not been any focus on teaching basic soccer skills such as passing, dribbling, or understanding positions on the field. We wanted to give it a few weeks before reaching out, assuming things might still be getting organized at the start, but it now appears this is the standard structure of the practices. Unfortunately, this is not what we expected when we signed up. As a result, we’ve decided that this program is not the right fit, and my daughter will not be returning. I would like to request a partial refund. Additionally, we never received the second shirt that we ordered and would appreciate a refund for that as well. Thank you for your time and understanding. I look forward to your response.

I was at a birthday party where Crab Kickers were running a session for the kids and they were having a blast and the coach was very friendly

Great program for all levels of abilities! We have several children in our club program that started their soccer journey with crab kickers. They teach the kids foundational skills that will help them when they join a rec or club team.

I definitely would avoid Crab Kickers. Ask your parent friends and they will probably tell you the same. Constant cancellations or moving to other locations make it impossible for the kids to learn anything. The coaches are unqualified and really not engaged, or in our case the first time, possibly intoxicated every week. We tried Crab Kickers twice thinking it was a fluke. It was not. Avoid.

We have thoroughly enjoyed crab kickers soccer for our almost 4 year old. Coach Alex is so great with the kids. He is super nice and he is so funny with the kids. My son thinks he is hilarious. We’ve done soccer through the county rec and this was such a better experience. Love that it’s outside, the coach actually teaches them things, and the kids are having fun! It can be chaos coaching toddlers but it’s well done. It’s also very well priced. We definitely plan to stick with crab kickers & we’ve recommended it to friends.
