Powered by GoogleThis is not about the team it’s about the tournaments held in Winston Salem for the cp3 bond tourney . Absolutely HORRIBLE all the way around . $25 at the door with no AC , messed up clocks ( with delays ) . Team paid $600 for it and the kids didn’t want to finish because the refs were on their case from jump . Not at any time should an adult EVER threaten a child or ask them “ to meet me in the parking lot “ unacceptable and appalling. I would not recommend anyone to spend money on this bs . Refs talking trash to the stands , players , and coaches . Very unprofessional and we will no longer leave Charlotte to enter ANY tournaments hosted by CP3.
We are very fortunate to have a world class basketball training academy in our backyard. Kids not only learn the art of playing basketball but also learn discipline, resilience, perseverance, endurance, team work, trust, and empathy: all important life skills. Special thanks to Julian who runs the program seamlessly and coach Christiana and coach D who are treasures of this academy.
The coaches are phenomenal, facility is extremely nice, players are great kids. We drive an hour for practice each way and don't regret it.
Smart location. Great parking, nice lobby, 2 courts, and great lighting! What more can you ask for?? Concessions? Well....YUP, it's there too! ( You can't do much with admission fee unfortunately!
It is rare for me to give 5 stars, but in this case 5 may not be enough! The CP3 Basketball Academy far exceeded my expectations. The only thing that would have made it better would have been if Chris Paul himself were there. This program has so many excellent qualities. In short, well worth the experience! Now for the longer explanation...First of all I have a 12 year old daughter. There were only a few girls in the mix. My child has played basketball with boys before but this time was VERY different. She normally has to fight to be noticed and is not necessarily treated like the boys. CP3 Basketball Academy made it a point to treat ALL of the kids with respect and fairness. They were divided up in groups and placed with others of the same skill level. Every child had a ball the whole time. They always had something to do. The instruction was very clear. The girls felt like they were a part of the team. The "developers" were respectful and respected. They worked with the kids and helped them on an individual level when needed. They offered encouragement and positivity throughout the training. The facility is immaculate. The court was very nice and had plenty of equipment for the kids. The bathroom was very clean and inviting. There were fully stocked vending machines. There is also a waiting area with a television in the lobby if you need to step away. Overall the experience is amazing. They offer a free session so that you can test it out. I would urge you to try it. I do not think you will be disappointed. My daughter is very hard to impress. She said she enjoyed it so much she wishes she could go every single day! In one hour she mastered the basic understanding of basketball. We have been trying to get her to really get it for a few years. This program was like an "aha" moment for her. She has participated in many developmental programs and this by far is the absolute best! WELL DONE!
