Powered by GoogleNice place to learn art / drawing / crafts. Classes of small groups. Annual art show,
My daughter is wrapping up her first year here at a Level 1 class and absolutely loves it. The projects she works on are so impressive. We just had her birthday party here for five little girls and that was equally wonderful and their other special events are fun. Miss Ashley is a phenomenal teacher (and owner) and we are so happy that we have discovered a place like this where she can continue to develop her love of art as she grows!
Connecticut Art School is a beloved bright spot in South Windsor, with so many different types of creative art classes delving into various mediums and techniques. The staff are all so talented, friendly, and caring. They really get to know each student, to bring out their strengths, and come up with new ideas in step with the times. (Come on, a Taylor Swift themed class? My neighbor’s daughter had a blast!) The annual art show is breathtaking in the plethora of pieces in show, as well as the variety of mediums and ideas. You can tell that they clearly bring out the best in each artist! Even if you do not have a student’s work in the show, it is 100% worth viewing! Thank you, Connecticut Art School, for what you bring to our community.
The confidence my child has gained in her artwork in the past 3 years is absolutely amazing. She has learned skills to help her be a better art student and I love the interaction with the teachers she has. Enroll your child immediately, worth every penny.
My son is finishing up his first session and I have signed him up for the next session. Each session is about 7 weeks. His classes are once a week an hour and a half each night. Once your time slot is assigned that's yours for the year if you want it. My son is really enjoying the lessons and has brought home some very nice art work. Today they wore their costumes to class and everyone got candy from a giant paint brush which was really cool. Sharon who is the owner is very responsive to emails with questions and information.
