Camp Rapid is the White River School District's summer day camp, run by its Community Activities Program at the district's Early Learning Center in Buckley. Campers rotate through arts and crafts, group games, STEAM activities and sports, with one to two field trips or guest appearances each week - several involving water features, so swimsuits are needed. The core camp day runs about 9am-3pm with drop-off from 8:45am, and extended care is available from 6am and until 6pm for an extra weekly fee. It enrolls students from full-day kindergarten (age 5 by August 31) through 5th grade, grouped by grade, and camp staff can administer medication with proper documentation.
