Powered by GoogleThis place is a waste of money and time. They are good at getting you in the door but not keeping your business. You’re paying $240 a month for your kids to teach themselves. There is no interaction or anything engaging about this place. When I said I was withdrawing my son, the woman from corporate happened to be there. She came out and sold me on their AI academy that they just rolled out and said it’s no problem to switch from 1 program to another. She assured me this was a more interactive program and it seemed more my son’s speed. She said I could come back Tuesday during his normally scheduled class, this wasn’t correct. They told me there would be no one to teach the class that day but on Friday I could come back because there was another student taking the class. I come back Friday and the kids working there said they weren’t set up for the class but he could do coding today. This is not acceptable and I officially pulled my kids from their classes today. I feel like they are only interested in the sale and not the actual quality of the business. Save your money, total waste of time.
My son has had an interest in coding and video games since he first started using Scratch in school. We wanted to find an outlet for him to grow that interest and Code Ninjas has amazing. With a curriculum that grows as they learn building on principles and techniques, he's always enjoying the experience, even working through issues. If you're child has an interest in coding or a career in video games, I definitely recommend.
Coding is going to and is growing into a universal need that I strongly think all kids will need to know. THis generation will see coding used in every field and eventually integrated into all types of work like a second language. Code Ninjas does a good job breaking it down to elemental blocks for kids to pick up from identifying how to put a block of code together using object-oriented learning first then eventually easing them into writing out an actual line of code. Getting them to first understand that one block followed by another is how a code runs is crucial to then identifying how it can change if you move one piece of code to another area. I've watched my kid grow with this method to where he can begin to explain to me how a game is working by telling me about each block. That's huge.
This is a great way to introduce your child to coding in a fun, engaging way. My son was reluctant to try it as he thought it was going to be like School work. We were pleasantly surprised when we picked him up and he was so excited to show us the games that he was able to create with coding in such a short time. He has been attending Code Ninjas for almost a year now and we are impressed with his progress.
My daughter has been attending Code Ninjas since this location first open. She absolutely loves it! She recently graduated to JavaScript and has really been enjoying learning about scripting and the flexibility of using built-in functions to make application.
