Powered by GoogleCleveland Force SC is all about filling spots on their teams, not player development. We had a terrible coach who killed our daughter's spirit and taught her nothing. When we went to the administrators for help we weren't given any other options to stay with the club, such as practicing with another team. The club director and area directors were condescending and inflexible, with a focus on club goals only. There are some fantastic coaches too, but you don't know your coach until you sign the contract and then there is no way to get out of it.
My son played with this team for several years as a high school athlete and I cannot say enough about his amazing experience! Coach Vishnu is fantastic - he is very effective in skills & teamwork training and he believes in fostering the growth of fine young men, going well beyond talent on the soccer pitch. My son is still close with his teammates, they are brothers. This outcome is due to their wonderful experiences together as a team, and their ability to work together as very talented athletes on a high performing team.
It can be a difficult decision to leave a familiar club and join an already established team, but that’s just what our family did. Our family made the switch a few months ago and both the players and staff have been extremely welcoming to our daughter and our family. The communication by Force, both as a club and from the coaches has been superb. We appreciate the strong focus on player development with positive and constructive coaching style. Our player and our family are both very happy we made the switch to join the CFSC family!
Before finding Force, my daughter participated in 3 development programs/trainings, run by competing soccer clubs/organizations in the Cleveland west-side area. After witnessing Coach Chris and Mike, and their focus on getting the details correct, while continuously raising the bar and expanding the tool set, we knew we found the right place - far better than our other experiences by a long shot. They set a very high bar for the kids, and in turn you will be amazed at what they can accomplish - far more than what you would expect at this age. We began in the Juniors program (which is excellent) and have moved on to join the Force Club team. My daughter has been trained by Coach Chris, Mike, and Kelly over the past year+ between the Juniors program and then on the club. My daughter's growth over that time period in both technical skills and tactical game knowledge has been outstanding. Recently, we have had a handful of opportunities to benchmark my daughter against the same competition that she faced before she trained with Force. This has allowed us to directly observe the impact of training with this club, and the results were incredible - a night and day difference. If you're looking for high level training, and to give your passionate child an environment to tap their potential, this is a great place to do it. We look forward to continuing our training with Coach Chris, Mike, and Kelly!!
My son had a great experience playing for CFSC. He really liked the training, and how hard they pushed him which prepared him well to play D3 college soccer. Coach Visnu was the best coach, team leader, role model and communicator. As a parent, he is the kind of coach you want for your son; I cannot say enough good things about him. My son also had great coaching from Coach Blake. Both these Coaches took a personal interest in helping my son grow as soccer player, but more importantly, as a person.
