Ciavarella Field is the home diamond of River Park Youth Baseball, a Cal Ripken-affiliated youth baseball league in Sacramento established in 1963 for players ages 4–12. The spring season begins with January evaluations and February practices across Majors, Minors, and Rookies divisions. This is a ballfield and seasonal league, not a summer camp.

It's a nice neighborhood baseball fields. They have a small field for the T ball age children and larger field for the older children. Each diamond has bleachers to sit and watch the baseball games. The team parents operate the snack shake with hamburgers and the kids favorite snow cones.
Great memories of Ciavarella Field. Grew up in River Park and played Little League ball for the Stars and the Pirates in the mid-60's. Good to see the ballpark is still there and part of the community.
Great well kept field. Nice snack shack with decent variety. Friendly parents. Be courteous of the neighbors and don't block the driveways. The trees do a decent job of blocking the sun but a small umbrella helps keep the sun off you.
Quintessential baseball experience. Meticulously maintained fields. Has it's own Tball field - so cute! This is truly the gem of East Sac.
