Ciavarella Field is the home diamond of River Park Youth Baseball, a Cal Ripken-affiliated youth baseball league in Sacramento established in 1963 for players ages 4–12. The spring season begins with January evaluations and February practices across Majors, Minors, and Rookies divisions. This is a ballfield and seasonal league, not a summer camp.

Each diamond has bleachers to sit and watch the baseball games. The team parents operate the snack shake with hamburgers and the kids favorite snow cones.
