My 14U player loves going to skills training and strength sessions at Alpha. The coaches , the owner, and facility are great. I can’t say enough positive things. Alpha teaches high level pattern (HLP) batting with certified instructors. The owner and staff truly work to develop hitters with guidance and input during batting session (it’s not just about getting reps but also developing your player’s swing!). Batting sessions and drills are well planned and incorporate various drills…it is unlike any baseball facility we’ve been part of. The thoroughness of planned drills and exercises also applies to infielding and pitching skills sessions, including catching sessions. My son is not a catcher, but it is apparent how well planned and executed the sessions are when observing the classes (there is a nice seating/observation area for parents). Strength sessions are no joke: speed, agility, strength training, etc. …go on Alpha’s Instagram and you’ll get an idea of the great workouts. The athletic/strength trainer Monty is awesome. The kids really like Monty, he truly understands development of the athlete physically and mentally, a true professional. My son went from one of the slowest on his travel ball team to one of the fastest…he’s a base stealer now, wow! I rarely write reviews, but I appreciate the Alpha owners and the coaches and what they are accomplishing. I highly recommend.

Came from a different facility and gotta say my son loves Alpha. Schmitty The owner really cares about these kids and is constantly in the facility helping them get better. The facility has all the newest and best equipment and the energy is a lot of fun. So many great classes and coaches I can see my kid getting better and most of all loving the game. Very organized and the travel team has a great community feel to it.

My son Hunter has been with Alpha since it's inception, and previously with the same coaching staff at 3Gear hitting. I cannot express how Fantastic this has been! Hunter has excelled in every possible facet of baseball since his first lesson. We currently play for Alpha's 10U baseball team, under the guidance of coach Derek, my son has grown to be a top catcher and his confidence is beaming! This coaching staff is superb, and the perfect place to trust your baseball and softball training needs.

Baseball is not just a seasonal sport for our son, Vincent—it’s a primary focus. He participates in travel ball, spring and fall ball, and both out-of-state and statewide summer and winter tournaments. When we were moving to El Dorado Hills, I needed to find a training facility for Vincent, who is 9 years old. Since he’s not a seasonal player, it was extremely important to find a place we could trust for year-round development—one that truly offers the full package: pitching, hitting, infield, catching, and strength & conditioning, with the flexibility to schedule classes around our busy lives. We visited several facilities and allowed Vincent to try out trial classes, including one at Alpha. This was a decision that needed to feel right—not only for me as a parent but for Vincent as well. Choosing Alpha has been one of the best decisions we’ve made for Vincent’s development. He started training there in April 2025, spending 2–3 hours a day, six days a week at the facility throughout spring and summer—all while continuing to play baseball and attend school in Carmichael, CA. The growth we’ve seen in his confidence, work ethic, and mindset has been just as remarkable as his on-field improvement. I highly recommend Alpha. The coaches are exceptional and genuinely care about these kids and their growth, both on and off the field. We hope Alpha will continue to be Vincent’s home facility for many years to come.
