At Chris Babcock Art Prep, my son is flourishing both technically and personally. We signed him up for the fast track program, to assist in getting his portfolio in order for his SOTA application. The studio's supportive environment encouraged him to experiment without fear of failure, gradually developing his unique artistic identity. Chris’ personalized attention addressed his specific strengths and challenges. The combination of technical instruction and nurturing atmosphere erased my son’s insecurities and in their stead, a confidence bloomed that carried him through the interview process at SOTA. We feel so grateful to Chris and the studio that provides our community with a safe space for children to explore all the wonderful ways they can express themselves in the world.

Chris is a phenomenal art teacher. My daughter has been to two other art schools and this is a space where she has been welcomed and felt like she belonged. Chris has really helped my daughter explore different types of art and the art she wants to focus on. I can’t recommend Chris Babcock Art Prep enough.

Our experience with Chris Babcock this summer was awesome. I wasn’t sure what to expect as it was our first time enrolling in her camp. I appreciated that before I enrolled she made sure I understood the program was for kids who truly want to learn how to paint. Chris has a way about her, very talented and great with kids. My child really thrived, learned technique and begged daily to stay in aftercare. The pugs were the icing on the cake. We are excited to explore more with Chris’ programs, even for adults!

Chris Babcock art is a magical place. Chris has a way of making anyone who walks in the door at ease and unlocking the creative potential inside of them through loving encouragement and laughter. I took Adult art classes here once a week for three years, unlocking my own creative journey into painting and drawing. All three of my children have taken lessons here and their work is proudly framed and displaced in their spaces. This is a fun, generative and energetic place you must try!

My three kids rate Chris Babcock art as their favorite camp because it is a unique experience that takes them to the "next level" in their self-perception of their artistic selves. My three kids know they rock art because their own art is hanging framed in their rooms. The formalized instruction is a platform they now jump from to their new projects, and Chris takes kids next level with a hearty laugh, high expectations, and a sense of "you can do" beautiful work.
