I just attended a show here for the first time (Frozen.) I was very impressed by the quality of the acting, the set design, and the overall production. Also, the tickets are affordable- especially compared to the prices for a show at Belk Theater. The cast was very talented- but I was especially impressed with the actress who played Anna!

The shows are very well produced, incredible talent and great for the kids, they love it. The staff is very helpful and bathrooms are close by. Impressive orchestra as well. We will always go back!

I’ve always loved taking my children to this location. Everyone is usually so friendly and the actors are so entertaining. I did however see one of the house managers, dressed in all black with longer brown hair, being very rude to another lady that works there with her. She was very degrading the way she was speaking to her in front of everyone else. It was upsetting to see. I hope this isn’t how the staff is usually treated, especially when several groups of children were present.

Love all the plays out of here and my kids always have a blast! Bummed about the Rudolph play though - I have never watched the actual movie and didn’t realize how mean Santa is to Rudolph and the Elves. Wishing since it is a kids theatre they would change the messaging. Will not be back for Rudolph even though it was a great play but will definitely continue to come to others. Perfect for ages 2 and up depending upon child.

My kids are now 10 and 8. This is our 4th visit for a play and 10 years coming here. I highly recommended it for parents with children of all ages. They have a lot of great plays. The Imaginon not only has a great location, but you can arrive by train with your stroller and avoid the hazard of finding parking. They are located across the street from a great market where you can have coffee and lunch. The library has a great selection of books and activities. This is a worthy day trip and is free. :).
