Children's Playhouse of Maryland is an award-winning youth theatre in residence at the Community College of Baltimore County, Essex. Its annual Summer Performance Workshop is a three-week intensive for ages 6–15 that immerses campers in a full production—lights, sets, costumes, mics, and makeup—culminating in a staged show.
