Children's Educational Theatre (CET) in Salem has run a five-week summer performing-arts program since 1975 for students entering roughly 4th through 12th grade. Campers attend daily classes in acting, music, dance, technical theatre, stage combat, and improvisation, and are grouped by age into tracks such as Midsummers, Mainstage Players, and Level 7, each culminating in a show.

Powered by GoogleReally excellent kids' camp productions! Great entertainment for young theater fans.
I've been in three shows, preparing for the performance week of my fourth here. I have made some of the best friends of my life at CET. Without this program, I would be a different person in a negative way. It's *bonkers* how much love I hold for this camp.
Inaugural 3 years. Not the best actor, the best of friends I hope. Q, I love you. ❤️
My children look forward to CET all year long! Our experience with CET has been a wonderful one thanks to the staff, instructors, TAs, and performers. Really thankful Salem has this incredible program that encourages kids to dig deep, to try new things, and to discover their talents whether it's performing, making masks or learning to work a sound board.
A terrific summer camp for kids finishing 3rd grade though middle school. Much more than a place to park the kids to keep them occupied. Lots of unique learning experiences available for the picking.
