The Chaska Community Center runs Extreme Kids, the city's full-day summer program for children entering grades 1–6, with crafts, small-group games, science, nature walks, weekly field trips, swimming, and ice skating at the center's arena. It operates 7:00am–5:30pm from June into August, with breakfast and snack included.

I gave it a 3 because the family locker room is absolutely disgusting.... garbage, band-aids, visible dirt in the showers, definitely not somewhere you want to be barefoot so bring pool shoes.
★Elizabeth GormanWe were really excited to check out the community center in Chaska but unfortunately they don’t have the parking spaces to support all their activities and on any given day you might end up leaving cause there’s nowhere to park. It wasn’t incredibly dirty in the pool/locker rooms/spa area and I saw multiple bandaids either floating in the pool or on the ground. We were excited about the steam room a sauna but both were pretty gross as well and there was visible gunk build up and mold. The sauna you could tell was thrown together and the craftsmanship was not there giving it a dingy vibe in the sauna and hot tubs area. There was also some questionable behavior from the old guys in the hot tub that was reason enough to never return. Staff were friendly, day pass price was reasonable and I can’t speak for the rest of the center since I was only in the pool area but I believe that speaks for itself on several levels. Just pretty icky overall
