Channel Islands YMCA's sleepaway camp at Camp Sequoia Lake, on more than 900 acres of forest surrounded by Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks near Miramonte. Campers stay a week in cabins or villas and spend their days hiking in the national parks, swimming in the lake, canoeing and doing crafts and sports around campfire evenings. A Counselor in Training track for teens is selected by application and interview and is capped at ten participants, and the Y also runs a six-night Family Camp at the same site. Dates and rates are published only inside the Y's online registration system.
