Champion Summer Camp is a fantastic summer camp for kids! Both of my children attended and they loved it so much that they later became counselors. The camp offers a variety of fun activities and field trips that kept my kids engaged and entertained all summer long. I'm so glad they had such a positive experience and were able to take on leadership roles as they got older. I highly recommend Champion Summer Camp to any parent looking for a fun and safe summer camp for their kids.

My 5yr old son and 7yr old daughter absolutely LOVE this camp!! They attended the camp last summer and had such a blast with all the different fun activities Champion provides and meeting new friends! It is by far their favorite summer camp and specifically requested to go again this summer! They just completed week 2 of summer 2022 and they again came home each day raving about each day! Champion does an excellent job of providing of an experience for children on what a fun summer camp is all about! Highly recommend!!

I enrolled my 6 year old twins in a total of 5 camps this summer (Galileo Camp, plus several Burlingame Rec camps), and while they really enjoyed all of them, Champion Camp was hands down their favorite - even for my daughter who was skeptical in advance because she thought it would be all about sports, and that's not really her bag. I could tell from the start that it was a well run camp, getting a detailed set of instructions from Tony the camp director about the logistics. The range of activities (lots of fun games, crafts, sports), the level of energy, the inclusiveness, and the attention from the camp counselors was wonderful - my daughter talks regularly about one of her counselors, Sabrina, who made a huge mark on her heart in just the one week. When she's worried she'll have nightmares, she wears her Champion Camp tee shirt to bed because it reminds her of Sabrina and that gives her happy thoughts (incidentally, it's a high quality shirt in an awesome color, with a different cut for the girls and boys, but still sporty and practical for the girls). My husband and I agreed that if we could design an ideal summer camp, this would be just about what we'd wish for.

Our two boys LOVE Champion Camp! We have sent our boys to this awesome camp, nestled in the trees at Crocker Middle School, for 6+ years and it is one of their favorites. Tony hires an amazing team each year as camp instructors, our boys always feel well looked after and they have FUN! One of the many cool things Champion Camp does is offer a fabulous outing each Wednesday. Raging Waters is our boys' personal fave, but what I love about Champion is Tony and team's real thoughtfulness...if the outing is Raging Waters, they will always offer a separate option equally fun for the younger children. Another fun outing is Sky High Sports, which seems to appeal to both the younger and older kids. The Wednesday fun day is something all the kids look forward to - it's a really special mid-week treat. Champion Camp also offers the most flexible pre and after care system. It's there for us to use but we are only charged if we use it! And of course, there are discounts for multiple week commitments, etc. One can also book by the day, which gives immense flexibility for family summer trips. We are huge fans of Champion Camp. Our boys have already asked to spend half of their 2020 summer there. 😊

Sent our 6 year old son for 3 weeks(a full session.). They didn't follow through with everything promised in the brochure. They didn't put sunscreen on him in the afternoons as promised and my husband told the head of the camp and it still didn't happen. Some counselors did it sometimes but it was only applied 3 times in 3 wks for him. I even made a point to speak with a counselor about it once morning because my spray bottle wouldn't work so I asked if they could please apply it that morning for me and to also remember to apply again after lunch. The counselor told me he would have a talk with everyone about it and I found out from my son when I picked him up that they didn't even apply it at all that day. This is mostly an outdoor camp so this is very important to me. Especially since our son has sensitive skin. They kept switching his group each week right when he would finally feel comfortable, they were allowed to wonder around inside and outside of the campus and I heard a few stories I didn't like. He went without lunch a couples days because he wasn't informed of where and how to get his food(knowone noticed.)They were supposed to be giving out iron on stars for the campers jerseys for good behavior or winning challenges etc. but, my son kept asking me why he hadn't gotten any and I didn't see anyone else with any on their shirts so I asked and was told they don't do that much anymore and then suddenly he came home with one that night and he didn't even know why.He was bullied and when he thinks the counselor, not much was done about it so it continued. I spoke with people a few times about everything and no changes were made. He was down everytime I picked him up and he is normally extremely social and this camp seemed to dim that light we all love so much about him. We also noticed that the female counselors were all wearing booty shorts and some were way to young in my opinion to be in charge of a group of young children.
