My experience was unique in that I was there as a face painter. My first impression upon walking in was, "Wow, this place is spotless." I am not sure if the girls working were coaches, but they were the most uplifting, helpful, encouraging young women. I had accidentally locked myself out of my paint kit and these girls worked with me for over 20 minutes to try and unlock it. One sat and tried picking my lock while the other looked for more tools. They both kept pumping me up and reminding me that everything would be ok. A family got the kit open, and painting commenced. All was right in the world. Through the entire event they stayed positive, kind, and truly engaged with the kids and parents while maintaining structure and boundaries. The party came to a close and the girls changed over the room so quickly and effectively, it was ridiculous. They somehow managed to stay engaged with everyone while cleaning, rearranging furniture, and welcoming in the next scheduled event. They continued to check in on me to see if I needed any help with anything. Thet were just so genuinely kind. I was so impressed. If I lived closer, I would sign up my little girl. Thank you for everything and for clearly having a culture of caring, dedication, hard work, and kindness. I'm so proud of you girls.

My daughter was considering quitting gymnastics all together before we found Maddie and the Chalk It Up team. At my daughter’s tryout Maddie immediately made my daughter feel welcome and at ease. It was the first time I had seen her really smile at a coach in a long time. For the past 2 months I have seen so much improvement in her skills and they have helped to build some of her confidence back up.
