The only downside is trying to get a hold of someone, but other than that I have no complaints. My kids love their teachers, and Coach Karrie is very patient with my energetic 3 year old.
★Rachel AshleyI’ve waited a long time to write this review, but I feel other families need to be aware of our experience. About a year ago, I enrolled both of my children at Northeast Ohio Gymnastics through our local Family Supports Program funding via the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Their website clearly states they accept this type of funding. If your child has any kind of developmental disability or mental handicap, I strongly urge you to reconsider sending them here. During two separate classes, the woman running the class brought my children out before the session even ended. I was made to feel small and embarrassed as she essentially stated that she “cannot handle these types of children.” That was heartbreaking to hear as a parent. If that is the case, then why accept funding specifically intended to support children with disabilities? To make matters worse, no portion of that class was refunded through Family Supports funding. Every child deserves patience, understanding, and inclusion — especially in an environment that advertises acceptance of disability funding. Unfortunately, we did not experience compassion, flexibility, or professionalism. If you value an inclusive and supportive environment for your child with disabilities, this was not it.
★★★★★Katie UnklesBoth my kids have taken a various number of classes at NEO Gymnastics and we’ve booked for a birthday party as well. We’ve loved our experience with them and everyone is so friendly. Neither of my kids are overly competitive (right now) so we love that we can pick classes for them where they feel supported in learning how to challenge themselves without feeling a ton of pressure. I know there are a lot of choices for those that want to compete too, so it’s great to have choices if they change their minds, as they already feel supported there.
★★★★★JordinMy daughter has been in the gymnastic classes for almost a year now and she loves it. They always let us know when she’s moving up or what she needs to work on. The girls who train her are super nice and patient with her. I only wish they had more seatings especially on Friday nights.
★E MThis place is so poorly run I have no idea how they maintain any clientele. You can call, but nobody will ever answer the phone. You are free to leave a message, but nobody will ever return it. You can email, but nobody will ever get back to you. You can show up in person, but there will only ever be teenagers there in charge who are unable to answer any of your questions. If you do enroll in classes nobody will keep you apprised of changes. They will charge you in advance- cancel classes and never refund you. They are simply awful.
