We actually moved to Montgomery County partly because of this school, since we couldn’t find a bilingual Mandarin–English Montessori program anywhere near our previous home. Both of our children (ages 2 and 4) attend, and the growth we’ve seen in them has been incredible. My husband and I are second-generation American-born Taiwanese, but they truly welcome families of all backgrounds (including 1st generation immigrants, American-born Chinese/Taiwanese, non-Mandarin speaking families). Both kids love the wide range of activities offered throughout the year—art, physical exercise, dance, music, and more. We’ve been in the Hummingbird, Dove, and Wren classes, and every teacher we’ve had has been fantastic, patient, and genuinely understanding. The Montessori “work activities” have also helped our kids focus better, since they’re more than just toys—they’re thoughtfully designed to support his development. We've also really enjoyed the field trips and performances. Our older son had a severe speech delay before starting CCACC—at 2.5 years old, he had only three words, and we were very concerned as parents. The teachers and staff have been patient, kind, and supportive from day one, even allowing our private speech therapist to pull him out of class. His speech has improved so much that he’s now speaking in full sentences! We're also very appreciative that they try to stay open as much as possible throughout the school year, since they understand that parents have to work. We’re so grateful to have found this school and it's worth every penny. Thank you CCACC!
