I took my daughter to Casely Tennis Academy with high expectations, but unfortunately it was a big disappointment. We attended a free trial class, and from the beginning it felt like there was no real interest in including us. If they’re not genuinely interested in trial students, I don’t understand why they offer this option in their kids’ program. The coach showed zero empathy. He saw my daughter trying to play with the tennis balls and struggling —which is completely normal for a first class— yet made no effort to help or include her in the group. My daughter even tried to engage and join another child who was playing, but the coach simply ignored her. It was an uncomfortable and discouraging experience. We had high hopes for this academy, but the reality was very different. I do not recommend it at all.

This review is for the 3-5 age group. Coaches are completely unaware of how to teach and direct this age group, asking questions and enforcing instructions above their knowledge or understanding. One child practices at a time leaving the other children wandering and distracted. When I tried to assist, I was told to sit down. Had this experience with two coaches for this age group. They autobilled my account for this class despite me requesting THREE times for cancellation- one in person and two by email and I am still waiting for a refund. Sad to say my younger will not be playing tennis as she did not enjoy it one bit. My older child really likes his coach and playing, but she has just been let go so unsure of how things will move forward.

I had a terrible experience with Casely UTR tournament and it was a complete waste of money. My son played the event first time and both matches were against players with significantly lower UTR ratings. I shrugged it off as bad luck at the time. It took me months to convince him to give it another shot. Same thing happened again...both matches against much lower rated opponents. At this point it’s obvious the issue isn’t luck. The organizers are either terrible at setting up fair matches or they’re conveniently stacking the draws in favor of certain kids (probably the ones they know or prefer). This is incredibly frustrating and demotivating for local players who are trying to compete at the right level. Save your money and pay a little extra for other quality UTR events that actually do proper matchmaking. We won’t be back.

Very bad place for your child had to move my two kids out of the program because they refused to pay coaches and use them while they want only money . My kids were there for two years could not even hit the ball . One new coach came and my son was doing rally in less than 3 weeks . They were copycat that new coaching style . She left I took my kids out . They just want money only .

Very nice layout of club with plenty of parking and shade trees. The courts play very well and seem to be well maintained. There is some wind as it’s in the middle of a park but nothing you can’t adjust to. The club is worn so the city will need to find the funds for major overhaul at some point. 12 clay courts with good lightening. Water fountains adjacent to courts and bathrooms by Pro Shop. Active club with lots of programs for junior players and active USTA programs and tournaments professional and amateur.
