Penny Sugarman Tennis Center at Sans Souci is a City of North Miami tennis facility at 1795 Sans Souci Boulevard, operated by the North Miami Parks and Recreation Department. Its youth group lessons are Tiny Tot Tennis for ages 4 to 6 and Beginner & Intermediate for ages 7 to 10, both on Saturday mornings, Afterschool Tennis for ages 7 to 15 on Monday and Wednesday afternoons, and Advanced Junior Drills for ages 10 to 15 on Monday evenings. Group lessons are sold per lesson or as a series of six, with separate resident and non-resident rates, and private lessons with professional instructors are available by appointment. Adult group classes also run at the center.

They have an abundance of tennis courts. Plenty of parking and a chill vibe. It's a bit of a drive from downtown Miami but worth it once you get there. A great tennis facility for the local community. It's a busy place with a small free parking lots and an overflow lot across the street when the club is busy. Ross has been the Director of Tennis here for years. He is a seasoned and accomplished tennis professional who offers private tennis instruction and group lessons for both adults and children. There are 12 hard courts and 1 clay court as well as a hitting wall. The property is a large footprint with lighted tennis courts. The facility could be described as a comfortable old tennis shoe. Perhaps they can leverage some of the covid dollars from the federal gov't to make some much needed capital improvements to the club. (see photos attached).
