Camp Cartwheels is the summer camp run by Cartwheels Gymnastics Center in Halfmoon, near Clifton Park. Camp runs four days a week, Monday through Thursday, from 9:00am to 12:00pm, making it a half-day program; a typical morning is warm-up and games, gymnastics rotations, snack with arts and crafts, then more gymnastics and games, with a pizza party on Thursday. Camp classes are split by age and level: Little Flippers for potty-trained boys and girls aged 3.5-5, Girls Gym Jam levels 1-2 for ages 6-13 new to the program, and levels 3-4 for invited gymnasts. Siblings enrolled in the same camp week get 10% off.

The camps are so well organized and have, aside from the snack break, no down time. The teachers and assistants are so energetic; when I tell them my daughter is Autistic they give that much more care and attention to her needs, and she always leaves camp more confident than when she entered. I also want to draw attention to how clean the facilities are- staff are regularly wiping down surfaces and taking out the vacuum cleaner. Thank you to Majel, Karen, and Staci!
