★★Caitlin HarrisonMy daughter went to the beginner level volleyball summer camp for 1 day. Came home very upset about how rude the coaches were to all the girls who couldn’t serve over the net. I had heard bad reviews from others but hoped they were isolated incidents. Clearly not. Whoever their coaches were had zero patients despite it being advertised as no experience needed.

★Kelley SmithCoaches, program directors, and parents must read this! This location is the worst I have ever encountered for a volleyball tournament. It is an absolutely inadequate setup for volleyball. There are no proper seating options, balls fly everywhere, and I saw many parents and grandparents hit by balls. Our play was repeatedly interrupted by balls from other games on nearby courts. Our girls had no space to serve due to the disgraceful arrangement of seating and courts. I've seen more injuries among girls at this tournament because of the poorly arranged metal seating than at all other tournaments combined. Parents were forced to climb on top of bleachers that weren't even deployed just to find enough seating. From the start, it was clear that the competition here is not up to standard, and our experience confirms why. This venue may be suitable for basketball, but I would never return for a volleyball event. There were no food trucks or healthy options—only a concession stand with junk food. When we attempted to bring healthy food for the girls, we were told we weren't allowed. These are athletes playing four games a day who need proper fuel, not ice cream and soft pretzels. With experience in high-level sports—three of us played college sports and we have been involved in the travel scene as coaches, parents, and players—we can confidently say this is the worst venue we've encountered. The owner should be ashamed of this unsafe, non-spectator-friendly, and generic facility.
★Philip JohnsonImportant review: I played at Carolina Courts back in my childhood. When I was in 7th grade (12-13 years), I had a coach named Coach Patrick. He was not respectful at all. After one game, in which my team lost by just one point, he was like “YOU GUYS BETTER BE AT PRACTICE ON TUESDAY BECAUSE Y’ALL ARE GOING TO BE RUNNING”. I can’t believe I even tolerated that nonsense.
★★★★★A CampbellAwesome! Went to the Native American Indian culture day. Love to learn about other cultures. Costumes were colorful, dancing was excellent and crafts were pretty. Had fun!
