The Carmel Youth Center (CYC) has been a huge blessing to our family! Our kids (one boy and one girl) attend the CYC after-school program and have participated in a number of the summer and holiday camps. I can't believe how fortunate we are to have such a great resource in our community. The kids love the way the Director (Jessica) switches up the programming to keep the kids engaged and challenged. The staff are excellent and extremely kind. Our kids have also learned so much about the surrounding community and have participated in walks to the library and service projects aimed at engaging them in the broader Carmel community. I can't say enough about our family's experience at the CYC. It has simply been over-the-top!

The CYC is a wonderful place for the youth of Carmel. They provide amazing camps in the summer and on breaks, they offer relevant and well designed themes and activities for my kids. They do amazing things like partner with local nonprofits, Girl Scouts, and other community organizations to teach the kids what it means to give back and be a good community member. (The 1 star reviews are some kids who hit their limit on screen time and had to cycle off of the computers, look at the screen names) as a parent I am happy to see a director who doesn't sit kids in front of screens with no enrichment opportunities. The director Miss Jess really cares about the kids, enriching the community, and is a wonderful director. Carmel loves the Youth Center!
