The School of Psychogeographic Arts, run by artist-educator Ross Sheehan at Seascape Village in Aptos, offers after-school art classes and summer camps for kids, teens and adults. Each class begins with outdoor exploration as a springboard for making art across plein air painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, mosaics, 'junk art' and graffiti art. Small groups (up to eight); the school relocated from Vermont to Aptos in 2024.

★★★★★Malina TerraMy son did a week long camp during the summer with Ross and enjoyed every minute of it. He has done many camps over the years and he said this was his favorite camp he’s ever done! They got to explore so many different avenues of artistic expression and Ross really gave them the space and freedom to let their personalities and silliness show through in their work. Ross is patient and kind with the students and we were bummed that our summer schedules didn’t allow us to sign up for another week but we’re hoping to join the fall classes. Highly recommend!!
