Powered by GoogleNot kid friendly The male employee are great 😃 I like the front desk people. The girl coaches are not kid friendly & always on their phones when teaching the gymnastics classes. I have seen the girl coaches take photos of kids without any type permission from the kid & parents. I know that would make some parents feel uncomfortable. They say no Peanuts allowed but I always sees Chick-fil-A. Chick-fil-A food is fried in peanut oil. The older kids trash the place where the parents & people wait for their kids to be done with class. Gymnastics the kids are barefooted where the cubbies are at & the floor always needs to be deep cleaned. I wish the older kids & teens clean after themselves. This Gymnastics place is expensive.
Horrible that you would book a competition at the Hilton in Alexandria and charge 35 a person (the highest amount i have ever paid) and they had a Itty bitty section for seating. More than half the people could not sit and on top of that, you scheduled 13 teams to perform. Absolutely ridiculous!! DO BETTER CAPITAL!!!
It’s hard to put into words how much we love Capital! After moving here and trying several gymnastics gyms in the area, this was the first place that truly felt like home. The coaches and staff are incredible with the kids—supportive, encouraging, and genuinely invested in their growth. One of my favorite things is that parents are welcome to sit in the gym and watch, which doesn’t seem to be the norm around here. It makes such a difference to be able to see the progress firsthand. We’re so grateful to have found this gem!
Zero customer service or even basic courtesy by owner and the incredibly rude woman (clearly known to most reviewers). Fascinated that a company so driven by profit is unwilling to fire her despite obviously driving paying customers away. If you want to be gaslit every time you interact with the front office while suffering through the absolutely disgusting condition of the gym (filthy bathrooms and whole place smells like dirty feet) then this is your place. Otherwise, find a different gym. You don’t need this place (despite the fact they think you do!) Coaches have all been fine. The only star in this rating is for them.
Both my children attended this Gym last year and I'm trying to decide if we should return. I agree, coaches are wonderful. The woman in the front office is less than helpful and definitely not friendly. I've tried to "win" her over, kill her with kindness to no avail. Again, my kids love this place b/c of the coaches however, since this is a paid service I feel like we should be getting great lessons as well as good service. If the front office was more helpful I'd give this place 4.5 stars! I'd never recommend it to a friend b/c of the lack of help on the front end.
