★★JNot a bad gym when it's not busy. Locker room needs cleaning and restocking....obnoxious kids in the gym at times. The hours are terrible though. This location Closes at 1pm on weekend (can you not find staff? Most are just sitting aroundanyways) And their raising membership prices.

Only thing they could improve is the amount of squat racks as there is only one, but there were many benches and lots of dumbbells. Overall, great Y!

The pool and aquatics program is located at the Sch High School. The Schenectady Y is also focused on supporting the community through Youth Development and Social Responsibility.
★Kevin KempfLifting equipment is in good shape but there isn't much of it -- one power rack, for instance. The people who work there are nice enough, but perhaps too nice; they won't confront the gym hogs, so good luck if someone's on the machine you need for an hour.
