In partnership with Oak Island Parks and Recreation, the Cape Fear Yacht Club runs annual one-week youth summer sailing camps, described as the only on-the-water program in Brunswick County. Campers sail single-handed Optimist dinghies and two-person 420s while learning sailing fundamentals, boating safety, terminology, rigging and how to skipper around Dutchmans Creek and the Cape Fear River, with US Sailing's REACH STEM curriculum woven in. A swim test is required to participate.

Neat place to hold events. Not sure if it's available to Members Only, but appreciate them letting us use the club for our Home Buyer's Expo.
